It is in effect a devolved service agreement, as our policy allows freehold transfers to parish councils to manage the assets and in turn encourage the local community to support the parish councils and take ownership of the areas around their parish. Green spaces in Almeley Parish
The council is selling all their land in the parish on the open market in April including the green spaces of holywell dingle, Batch and Upcott Pond. The sale is by informal tender, people can bid for individual parcels within the lots and any received will be assessed.
